Sweaters are a winter staple in almost everyone’s wardrobe so each Friday I will be sharing a different sweater and how I style it. The easy outfit is wearing a sweater with a simple pair of jeans and boots. Over the course of my weekly Sweater Style posts I am going to try and challenge myself to find other ways to style these sweaters while still being warm and cozy. The first sweater I am styling is this Balloon sleeve tan Fairisle Sweater.
Today’s sweater is a really pretty tan color with orange, brown, grey and white fairisle detail around the neck. To finish off this sweater it has a really fun balloon sleeve making it very unique. This sweater is also cashmere making it extremely soft, warm, and lightweight at the same time. I am wearing the sweater in a size small and it fits true to size.
I have styled this sweater 2 ways. The first being a classic sweater look and honestly my winter uniform. I pairt this sweater with a pair of jeans and my go to Marc Fisher Oshay Pointed Toe booties. Since this sweater is already a statement by itself with the fairisle detailing I paired it with pearl earrings and my E necklace. I would wear this outfit any day whether I was leaving the house or not!
The second way I styled this sweater was with a skirt and knee high boots. I swapped my E necklace for a strand of pearls to elevate the look just a little. This outfit would be perfect for going out to dinner or any fun event you may have throughout the winter. Another place to wear this outfit could be to work if you go in person or tuck it away for the day it happens again.
Next week I will share another sweater and more ways I style sweaters throughout the cold seasons. What is your favorite way to style a sweater?
