I am in no way a makeup expert. I did not start wearing more then eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara and lipstick until college. Sophomore year I decided I need to up my makeup game to look a little more put together as I started doing my SLP observations. Since then I have tired a few different products out. But bottom line when I am doing my makeup I want it to be simple, quick and good for my skin. My current routine I have been using for about 6 months now and start to finish is under 10 minutes.
What I Use:
- Tula Face Filter Primer: Evens skin tone and redness of skin. Sits really nice under makeup and even just on its own for those no makeup days.
- Shape tape: I used this under my eyes and on any breakouts. I blend it up my nose and on to my eyelids as well. I do this before foundation because I feel like when I do it on top my eyes are to bright and it almost looks a little reversed racoon. The shade I use is Fair Beige
- Maracuja tinted moisturizer: This tinted Moisturizer works just as good as a regular foundation. It covers just as well and sits very light on your skin. I wear it in shade Fair Light Beige
- Blush and highlight: I put a little blush on my cheek bones so it looks natural. Than I use a swipe of highlight (in shade sunbeam) following my cheek bones and blend it using the mini beauty blender it comes with.
- Eyes: First I curl my lashes and put some primer on them. Next I put a thin line of eyeliner on my upper lid and some neutral eye shadow. Lastly I coat my eyelashes with mascara. (sometime i do curl again once the mascara dries).
- Lips: I keep it simple on the lips, a neutral color, I have been loving the lippi crayon like on from tarte. But as spring rolls around I am definitely going to switch it up for a neutral pink!
- Set: Especially with the mask wearing going on in the world these days using a setting spray is so important. I used both the spray and the powered one since the powder one has sunscreen in it too. After I spray my face I pat it in with my foundation brush. Then a quick swipe of the sea powder I am ready for the day!
