Traveling is starting up again and I am looking forward to traveling agin but for now I am all for a great staycation between working. Summer is flying by so over the next month or so I am going to make the most of my days off. The jersey shore is known for a lot of different things but this guide is my version of it, the one I grew up loving and still love. If you are looking for a fun filled weekend in at the beach here are some tips and tricks to make the most out of your time and feel like a local. I have lived here all my life and I know a thing or two about how to have a great time, enjoying the beach, local shopping, nightlife and great food.
Beaches
Of course to start it is important to talk about the beaches because it is the center point of your trip. The Jersey shore is full of lots of great beach to relax and enjoy. Each small town allows for different levels of enjoyment, excitement and relaxation.
Belmar, NJ: If you are looking for a more fun and lively beach than Belmar is the beach for you.
Spring Lake, NJ: If you are looking for a relaxing quiet beach day then spring Lake Beach is for you. One caveat to that is no food is allowed on the beach. Spring lake is about two miles long allowing for plenty of parking and room even on the crowed weekends
Bradley Beach, NJ: If you are looking for a relaxing beach that allows food then Bradley is a great spot for you.

Upscale small business that have clothes, treats and more. Some of my favorites include WaterLilly, Warm and a Life is good store. Besides shopping they have a great scone place called the Scone Pony, my favorite flavor is the vanilla bean one, it melts in your mouth its so good. A new croissant place also just opened called Nick and Sons on Morris Ave. I have yet to try it but its one my list to try this week!
Main street, Manasquan, NJ
A little more everyday shopping in Manasquan compared to spring lake. There is a second location to WaterLilly that carry’s a whole different line of cute clothes, then it’s sister store in SPring lake. Palm Place is one of the only stores that carries Lilly Pulitzer her and is perfect if you are looking for your next Lilly look! RareCargo is another cute local store with trendy fashion and accessories.

The Columns, Avon by the Sea, NJ
This Bar is has been a round for years but this summer has really take on off as the place to be on the weekends, drawing a younger crowed then ever before. They have live bands every Friday and Saturday night, leading to fun filled night of dancing and drinks. Pat Roddy draw a big crowed on the nights he plays. I went the last time he was playing and had a blast with my friends.
Djais, Belmar, NJ
If you are looking to take a walk on the wild and crazy side of Nightlife at the Jersey shore, Djais is not one to miss. Personally I have never been here but people who go love it.
