I love holidays and I love what they represent. My love for holidays has inspired me to start a new series I call Dressing for the Holiday and I am really excited about it. The thought of writing more post for this series in the fall about Halloween, Thanksgiving and even Christmas has me so excited. So the first up is the fourth of July.
The Fourth of July typically marks the start of the summer around here since NJ schools get out so late but this year I feel like summer started in March. Anyway the 4th is one week away meaning it is time to break out all the red, white, and blue you can find. Fourth of July definitely looks a little different then normal with all the restrictions still in New Jersey, their will be no Fireworks on the beach but restaurant are open and small outdoor gatherings are allowed so we can make the most out of this years fourth of July will look different but that does not mean that the fun has to be stoped. For me the Fourth of July is a busy time, living at the beach the holiday weekend draws a major crowd of beach goers, restaurant customers and families of the locals looking for some much needed beach time.
Holidays allow for fun clothing and decor so here are some of my favorite Fourth of July finds!
Bathing Suits:
With it being summer and living at the beach having a red, white and blue bathing suit is a must. Target always has some great options! I have this reversible one and I use it every summer when I go to the beach fourth of July weekend. The American flag bathing suit is definitely a statement. J Crew has some Seersucker options that have just as much holiday spirt without as big of a statement. Below you will find the J Crew options.
Outfits:

After the beach you are going to need some outfits for your 4th of July parties. Here are some dresses and rompers that would be perfect for all your 4th of July outfits.
(1) this romper is a cute white romper with navy stars on it. I would pair this romper with of Jack Rogers, gold or red, and some summery earrings.
(2) This red dress from Lonestar Southerns, Impeccable Pig collection is the perfect summer Dress for the 4th of July. Pair this bright red dress with some blue and white accessories and you will be all set for the holiday!
(3) This blue baby doll dress also from The Impeccable Pig is another great dress for the 4th. With blue and white stripes and a pair of red earrings or shoes you will be all set for your party.
(4) White jeans and skirts are so on trend right now that with the Fourth rth of July they allow for the perfect stable. Pair them with a blue or red top and you will be all set for the holiday! This skirt from Vineyard Vines is a great option or these pants from J Crew. I have both and love them!
Now sometimes 4th July evenings can get a little chilly so here is my perfect fireworks outfit for sitting on the cold sand to watch the fireworks or a chilly event on the water or front porch. These seersucker paper bag shorts from target are definitely a new favorite. They come in this blue color and a pink gingham and a black gingham. I paired these shorts with a USA sweatshirt from target and an old American flag headband!
Earrings:

I love statement earrings and holidays give me the perfect reason to order another pair. Here are some of my favorite earrings for this fourth of July! (1) this pair is from Bauble bar, my go to spot for earrings, their statement earrings are never to heavy and allow for the perfect statement to any outfit. these other two pairs of earrings are from Esty. (2) (3) I love shopping on Etsy you can find so many great things and so much if it is unique and personal to both the sellers and the buyers!
Wow, this post was so much fun for me and I hope you enjoyed it! What are your fourth of July go to outfits and accessories, comment below!
