Happy Monday! I can not believe that Shannon and I have been working on this series for 10 weeks!! This week we are talking all about our favorite school bags for college and a few things we never leave our rooms without! be sure to head over to Shannon’s blog for her favorites.
On any given day in college I have 2-3 classes a at a time. They usually last 2.5 hours since my major seems to make them each once a week. So when I leave my room I leave for a long period of time so I have to make sure I have everything I need.
My Favorite School Bags:
I find that I rotated my bag of choice depending on the outfit I am wearing, the supplies I need and the events talking place that day. In general I find myself rotating between my backpack from Madeline and Company, my large Le Pliage totebags by Longchamp and of course the St. Anne Tote from Barrington Gifts.
Backpack:
Until I found this backpack from Madeline and Company I was lucking if I used the same backpack for an entire school year let alone the following school year. I have used this backpack for the past 3 years and it still looks brand new. I have the the Slim backpack. (similar bag linked) It has 3 large pockets that fit everything I need and more. It has a comfortable fit even when it is full of books!
Le Pliage:
Next up in my go too school bags list is the Le Pliage tote. I have had my Navy tote since sophomore year of high school. Shannon actually introduced me to these bags and I just had to have one. I could barely put it down after I went and bought it. I love this bag because it is so durable and it is just a big empty bag with no pockets that allows you to fit all things you could need in it. This bag can fit my laptop, planner, pencil case, and books all it this bag without a problem.
St. Anne Tote:
My last go to bag is of course my Barrington Gifts bag. I wrote a blog post all about my love for Barrington Gifts back in March. I like using this bag on days I have clinic since I am dressed professionally those days. Using my tote bag makes me feel more professional then my backpack. This bag has endless room and it even has enough space for an over packer like me to pack for an warm weather overnight trip!
My School Bags essentials:
Now that I have my school bags sorted out here are some things I always have in my school bag.
No matter what school bag I am using that day I always have my Lilly Pulitzer Planner in my bag. Last week I talked all about how I use my planner, the post is linked here.
Next I insure I have my Pencil case fall of my favorite pens, pencils, expo markers and highlighters.
Most of my school work is on my Laptop so I always use a bag that it will fit into. To go along with my laptop I usually throw in a phone charger and my laptop charger just to make sure I have enough power to get through the day.
Even with all my work being on the computer I make sure I have a spare note book just in case I need to write or draw something that I can’t do on my computer.
With all going on in the world I will be sure to keep a face mask and bottle of hand sanitizer in my bag as well.
