About your major:
EM: It is a 5 year program, where I will earn both my undergrad degree and masters. SLPs work with all populations who have deficits in cognition, articulation, language, and swallowing.
SK: Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary approach to the study of the nervous system from cognitive, behavioral, and molecular perspectives. It is a popular major for students looking to go into research or the health sciences

What inspired you to start your blog?
EM: I have always loved shopping for clothes and putting together outfits for school and other events. I finally decided last summer after following other blogs such as Lonestar Southern and Katie’s Bliss. I thought that this is something I could do and would enjoy doing. So I dove right in.
SK: I was interested in photography for a while, but wanted to add more purpose to the pictures I took. I’ve always followed YouTubers and Bloggers on Instagram and decided to become one myself!
Why did we start this series?
EM: We started this series to take out experiences with navigating college and hopefully help others starting college and make the transition easier.
SK: This college series is a way for us to reflect on the knowledge we’ve gathered over the past three years as college students! We hope that this inspires current and future students to make the best of their experience!
How do we know each other?
EM: Shannon and I met on the first day of freshman year of High school and we became fast friends! She was actually my first new friend I made in high school.
SK: Emily was the first person I met in high school! We had most of our classes together during our first semester of Freshman year. We were also in a lot of the same clubs and got to know each other well!

EM: In 10 years I seem myself happy with a husband, kids, and a successful career.
