This week on the College series I do with Shannon over at The SK Way, we are talking about Professional Outfits for the summer season. One day we will all be back at work and it may be during the summer so we will all need some summer professional outfits! Year round my go to place for professional attire is J Crew and J Crew Factory, but you can find professional pieces at so many different stores! I paired these 4 look with a simple pearl earring, my tortoise Apple Watch band, and my other two bracelets I never take off.
Outfit 1:
The first outfit is the most professional outfit out of my 4 outfits in this post. This outfit consist of a Classic Navy Blazer over a blue and white dress. This dress is a few years old from a local store in my town, Bungalow Road. This dress is has a wide strap, covering my whole shoulder making it work appropriate even with out the blazer. To top it off I threw on a pair of nude wedges. This outfit would be great for a spring/summer interview or other warm weather professional work days
Outfit 2:
Personally I am more of a dress/skirt person but sometimes pants are the easiest option. Next up is my favorite pair of work pants I own, they have a scalloped hem. I paired this pair of pants with a light pink blouse from the same local store the dress above is from. Lastly I threw on a pair of nude flats to finish off the outfit.
Outfit 3:
This third outfit is is J Crew’s classic paper bag skirt with an embroidered take top and a short sleeve sweater in case the office is a little chilly with the AC on. To complete this outfit I paired it with a pair of nude wedges.
Outfits 4: Causal Friday
The last and final outfit in this professional outfits try on is for causal Friday. It is a pair of white Jeans and a blue striped blouse. This outfit also works as a great transition outfit from work to dinner with friends. I paired this outfit with my go to Jack Rogers.
After putting outfits together for this post I noticed most of my professional tops are from the small business Bungalow Road (their instagram is linked.) They have great house gifts, decor and woman’s clothes. My mom and I shop there for gifts and clothes multiply times a month.
