Hello and welcome to Em by the Sea! My name is Emily and I am from a small beach town on the Jersey Shore. I have lived here all my life and I love it so much. I live in this town with my parents and younger brother as well as most of my extended family. I have deep family roots in this town that have all shaped me in to who I am today. Growing up my parents usually put me in pretty nice clothes and by the spring of my freshman year of high school I began to develop a deeper love for fashion and shopping. It has only become deeper over the past few years. I always joked about actually starting a blog to share my stories and fashion with the world and now i have decided to make this a reality. So who am I now, I am going to be a junior in college at Misericordia University where I am studying to be a Speech Language Pathologist. This school is in Dallas, Pennsylvania and a little far from the beach for my liking but I really enjoy the speech program they offer and I look forward to the day I get my degree so I can change peoples lives.
Now that you know a little about me I want to tell you about what this blog will be, it will be a blog about my life mostly fashion and design but also just life experience I have along the way. So welcome to the journey, I hope I can inspire and entertain you in some way!
