My family and I are currently on day, who knows, of social distancing. The days all seem to run together, the day of the week and the date of the month seem to be forgotten. We wake up eat, exercises, listen to class, do some homework, online window shop, eat some more, read a boo, watch some TV , get ready for bed and go to sleep. Then wake up the next morning and do it all again.
All over the country and world people are doing the same thing. We are doing are part to help flatten the curve. Social distancing is the only way us as humans can help repair the damage done. We stay at home and the doctors, nurses, first responders, and so many more are on the front line fighting the fight.
I miss normalcy and I miss getting dressed in really outfits every day. I started this blog last summer to share all aspects of my life but esspically the ones that involve clothes, jewelry, and all fashions related items. As I continue to work on creating content about the clothes I have been browsing and ordering, I thought I would share some other contact such as recipes I have been trying, books I have been reading and shows I have been watching. Below you will find a list of books I have read and shows I have watches to help fill your time in-between, working from home, doing school from home or just to fill your time even when this is all over.
Today’s outfit is a navy and white striped sweater from Kiel James Patrick paired with bright pink joggers from Something Navy. I have these joggers in both pink and light grey. Ever since quarantine they have been in heavy rotation of my go to pant. I linked a similar pair since I got these last summer at the Nordstrom anniversary sale! This sweater was a Christmas gift a few years go, linked here is all of Kiel James Patrick woman sweaters, there are some great options!
Books
American Royals by Kathrine McGee: What if American had a Royal Family? This book has forbidden love, elegance and of course royal secrets. I loved this book, I could have finished in in a matter of days but I didn’t want it to end so I read a chapter a night for weeks so I could spend it our longer. This book is the first in a two book series, the second book comes out September 1, 2020 and I can not wait.
The Summer I Tuned Pretty by Jenny Han: I have read this book 3 plus times and each time it makes me feel like its summer and anything can happen. This book was the first series that introduced me to the author Jenny Han and I have read 3 or her tillages and this one has to be my favorite. This story is all about a girl names Belly and her summers with her moms best friends family. It has love, heartbreak and of course love triangles. The follow up books are It’s Not Summer Without You and We’ll Always have Summer.
To All the Boy I Loved Before, P.S. I Still Love you, and Always and Forever Lara Jean By Jenny Han This book is better know for the Netflix movie series that was made and you will fine it on the movies list, but I am a firm believer that the book is always better. If you loved the movie you will love the books.
The Burn for Burn trilogy is the third triage I have read by Jenny Han and it was a wild ride, nothing like her other two series but definitely an entertaining read. The books in this trilogy are Burn for Burn, Fire with Fire and Ashes to Ashes.
The First Time by Colten Underwood: This book talks all about the Bachelor start Colten and his experience with football, love and of course the bachelor. I read the book in 1 day. It was a page turner and it put a lot into perspective. Of course finding out about the ins and out of the bachelor was a fun bonus.
