This past fall Daryl Ann Denner created Nuuds. I was out to dinner with my cousin and we were talking about what her new venture could be, we always enjoyed watching her instagram stories of her deals and fun loving family, once she announced it, it all made sense. Her style is practical, neutrals, and comfortable. Well I may not always be practical when it comes to outfits (i.e., where sling back shoes to work in a preschool), I am all for quality basics. That is exactly what NUUDs is. During the first drop I ordered the white body suit, PJ set and a long sleeve t shirt for my brother for Christmas. I end up returning the long sleeve because I ordered the wrong size. It was a nice feel and would have been one he continued to pull.
Pajamas:
Sleeping in the Nuud is my new favorite because of the woman’s pajama set at nuuds. The PJ set is a pant and a cropped shirt. The pants are the perfect thin material. I am one who likes to sleep in shorts or long t-shirts because I feel like I can’t move in pants. However these pants are game changer. They are thin but I have been wearing them all winter and have not been cold once. I find myself on the weekends staying in them as long as possible because they are so cozy. The cropped short sleeve tee is too cute. I could totally see my self pairing it with jeans or shorts in the warmer months.
The Pj set comes in 6 different colors. I have them in cinnamon in size X-Small. If I was to get another pair I would go for the dark olive or black. Daryl Ann shares all the insider information when it comes to new Nuuds products and a short set is coming soon and I can’t wait for it.
Body suit:
I am always looking for a white layering shirt, whether it be a body suit or not. Prior to this my go to white layer was a white scrub under shirt because it was so comfortable. I still wear it often but this body suit allows for the same look but more put together. The body suit body is double lined and the arms are not. This allows for it to lay really smooth which makes it extra flattering. I have the long sleeve crewneck body suit in white. I am wearing an x-small and it is comfortable, definitely more comfortable without underwear (TMI lol but important part of the review) due to the thong nature of the bodysuit.
Personally, I think the small would fit better because it would give me a little extra length. I definitely run between x-small and small so when I order another I will probably get a small. The crewneck body suit comes in 10 colors, lots of neutrals, that I find hard to wear with my fair Irish skin but would definitely consider the dark olive, black or bone. I am excited to pair this long sleeve with jean shorts or skirts for all the transition outfits coming this spring.
In the original drop there was 2 body suit styles, the long sleeve crewneck and scoop neck. This was followed by the ribbed collection which had a the crewneck body suit in a ribbed material. Most recently they dropped the off the shoulder bodysuit and the squareneck.

More Thoughts:
Nuuds also has sweatshirts, everyday tee-shirts, sweatpants and a tank top. I totally have been eyeing the sweatshirt in bone since I feel like its a basic that I could wear to work but also with leggings and have so many different possibilities and uses. Especially as the weather transitions to spring layers a key here in New Jersey. As for the essential ribbed tank-top I am all for a stable tank top but the cut of this one seems off and that’s why I have hesitated to order it.
As for what is coming down the pipeline over at Nuuds I am so excited. Not exactly sure when the next drop is, I think Daryl Ann hinted March on her stories, there is lots of spring options and I’m loving them. Based on the behind the scenes footage shared this past weekend at their Real buddies shoot I am totally eyeing a few products. The spaghetti strap bodysuit, a summer must, in white and/or black. The cropped every day tee in white would look so cute with a high waisted short for a casual summer outfit, or to throw on over your favorite bikini. Lastly, for now, is the wide strap tank top bodysuit which would be perfect with skirts, shorts jeans and more this spring and summer.
The closet staples that Nuuds as created are just what your closet needs, especially the white color of the items. I have a hard time with browns because I like to wear a lot of color but having the white or black options allows for my preppy style to still find all the benefits of Nuuds. If I could pick what I want to see next from nuuds is everything in NAVY! Navy is my neutral and I am always looking for good navy tees, body suits so Daryl Ann and Family if you see this Navy would be a perfect next color!
