The official start of fall is only 10 days away! Which is so exciting, I am ready for boots, booties and sweaters. As I shop around and pull inspiration for my upcoming fall outfit there are a few patterns, trends and styles that I am seeing on major repeat!
Waffle Knit:
As I browse the internet online shopping, almost every store has tops, sweaters and dresses that are a waffle knit material. The waffle knit thermal material are the perfect way to feel dressed while still being comfortable working from home this fall. As I shared with my mother that I keep seeing this waffle knit material all over the stores, she comment that her friend believes that this waffle knit material helps protect from the virus. I am not sure if I believe this but its another benefit comfy and protect, what more could you ask for! Below is a little collage of some of my favorite waffle knit pieces!
Leopard
The next pattern I am seeing every where this fall is leopard. Leopard has been everywhere throughout this year, The pattern has carried from winter through Spring and in to summer. The best part is it seems to have stuck and is stay even as we transition to fall. I love all the leopard pieces I have accumulated this year and plan on continuing to grow my collection! Back in the spring I share a post all about styling a pair of leopard pants so I will link that here. Below you will find a collage of some newer leopard I am loving!
Henley T’s
Similar to the Waffle knit, the Henley style T shirt another style I am seeing everywhere. A Henley top is a casual shirt that has a scoop neck and a row of 3-4 buttons in the center of the neck. The style was originally associated with the Henley Royal Regatta in the late 19th century. No matter where it came from I am loving the style. It is extremely versatile and can be worn with jeans or leggings and sweaters and vest. It is a definitely a wardrobe stable this fall season. Below are some of my favorites.
Puffy Sleeves
Next up is puffy sleeves and shoulders style. I am loving the little puffy sleeve situation going on these days. Puffy sleeves have been making a slow come back since 2018 and I think they are here to stay. I recently purchased a fall dress with them and its such a fun piece to style for fall. As I shop for the fall I plan on adding more and more puffy sleeves to my closet! Below are some of my current favorties.
All these fall styles have me so excited to continue to shop for the fall! What style are you looking forward to?
