Gingham is a preppy girl’s staple and finding ways to style it into the fall is a must. I have countless summer gingham pieces that I love and hate to part with when the weather changes. The only good thing is I have this gingham button down to find ways to style well in to the fall and winter! Here you will find two ways I am currently styling my gingham button down. Want to read more about the history of gingham, check out this blog post from June!
Number 1:
To start off I paired this button down with my green paper bag skirt. (more about paper bag skirt here!) I love the pairing of the navy with the green skirt. I threw on my puffer vest to break up the gingham a little bit. The vest also adds a great layer incase it is a little chilly out. This outfit is perfect for almost any event causal yet comfortable for any outdoor fall activity you have this fall.
Number 2:
The next way I am styling my button down is with a pair or jeans, my knee eye boots and of course my vest. This outfit is perfect for a day at the pumpkin patch, apple picking or any other fall activity. It allows for great comfort but still look stylish on your fall outting. Worried about mud, throw on some rainboot and you will be all set for a wonderful day!
Gingham has endless possibility of outfit, you can find it in so many colors and style for all season. One last way I would style this button down is under a crew neck sweater with a pop of gingham at the collar and the cuffs.
