My Favorite Sunscreens!

July is officially underway and so are my days at the beach leading to me using sunscreen all the time. Personally I have fair skin that burns easily. My go to summer sun care is wearing sunscreen, a hat and even using an umbrella when at the beach. In this post you will find my favorite SPFs to use all summer and some I even use all year. This summer I have 3 favorite sunscreens I have been using so far this summer.

My Everyday Sunscreen:

Every morning after I put on an SPF (see my full skincare routine here). My everyday SPF for my face these days is this one from Tula. Tula’s products use probiotics and active ingredients to improve your skin. I really like this sunscreen because it goes on really lightly, it smells like summer, and gives your skin a nice glow. This glow works under makeup as well. This sunscreen has both UVA and UVB protection. Which to me is awesome since I spend time on my computer/phone and out in the sun allowing my skin to be protected in both situations.

Face:

Putting sunscreen on your face is so important. It helps with all aspects of skincare now and in the future. Your future self will thank you for wearing sunscreen. It is thought to help with making you look younger in the long run! This summer I have been using the Glow Stick SPF 50 from Supergoop! I love that is goes on clear and does not feel heavy on my skin. I keep this sunscreen in my beach bag all summer and it never gets melty or gross in the heat from being at the beach. This makes it so easy to reapply. I apply this 3-4 times in a day at the beach, especially after being in the water.

Body:

Personally I hate putting sunscreen on my arms, legs and the rest of my body but I know I have to so I do. Sunbum is my go to brand for my favorite sunscreens, both spray and creams. for Typically I only put sunscreen on my entire body if I am gong to the beach and in a bathing suit. On occasion depending what my day entails I will make sure to put it on even in regular clothes when I know am going to be out in the sun. My go to spray sun screen is the 50 to 70 SPF from Sunbum. I love sunbums products they always smell like summer. It sprays on so easy and doesn’t usually make me feel sticky once it drys. The Sunbum cream sunscreen is just as easy as the spray it is just more work. I find my self using the cream when I am not in my bathing suit and I am worried about the sunscreen staining my clothes.

Skin care is so important and recently I have been more and more inclined to noticed. I have enjoyed working on finding the best products for my skin. These are definitely some I have been loving lately. Especially in the summer with so much of my time spend on the beach and in the sun. What is you go to SPF, leave it in the comments below!
