When it comes to summer statement pieces bright pink seems to be my go to color! I own quite a few pink piece in my wardrobe that have become staples so far this summer! This summer I had many graduations to attend allowing me to wear two of my favorite pink dresses! Along with the graduations I have found ways to wear my pink piece in my everyday outfits!
Pink Outfit 1:
This pink number is from The Impeccable Pig’s Lonestar Southern spring collection! The Give it a Twirl Dress comes in both bright pink and a lighter pink! This dress sold out so fast and I waited to long to order it the first time back in April. So in May when I got home from school I finally preordered in hope it would arrive in time for a family party in June. Luckily it did, but not until after my dad and I hunted down the mail man because he forgot to drop it off when we delivered the mail that day. It arrived the afternoon of the party! Lucky for me my cousin had a steamer to get all the winkles out and my mom can sew, so she quickly shorten the straps to make the dress fit perfectly! I have worn this ruffle dress twice now. It has definitely become a staple this summer!
Pink Outfit 2:
This two piece Lauren James dress, The Carly Two Piece, (this year it came in white) was a need last spring when she released her summer line! I ordered it right away and got much use out of it! I wore it for graduations and family parties last summer. When it was time to put it away for the winter I looked forward to wearing it again this summer! So far this summer I wore it to another graduation and plan on wearing it much more as the summer progresses! It is a simple seersucker fabric with a scallop hem line giving it a very classy vibe. The fun thing is you can even pair the skirt with a white tank and get two outfits out of it! I have paired this dress with both simple gold Jack Rodgers (when I do not need to be as fancy), Kate Spade white espadrille with a bow on the toe or even just a simple nude heel!
Pink Outfit 3:
Living at the beach, when I am not working my summer jobs I am at the beach if the weather will allow it so I of course need lots of bathing suits! Last week I ordered a few from J Crew and I could not help my self, and I ordered a bright pink top This simple suits are classic and so easy to match with many different bathing suit bottoms! I love the classic aerie bikini bottom which I have in many colors. I like to pair the solid pink top with my white and navy stipe bottoms.
Pink Outfit 4:
In the same J Crew bathing suit order as the piece #3, I ordered this white and pink striped top. I like to pair this top with navy bottoms (aerie)! I can pair suit with many different bottoms making it last all summer, never getting sick of the pairs I can make!
Pink Outfit 5:
These shorts are from a local summer boutique in my town! They are such a statement, I decided to dress them up by pairing them with a white tank from Francesca’s and my gold Jack Rodgers. Both the top and the bottom have a scallop touch that complete the outfit! These shorts can be dressed up or even dressed down with a simple t-shirt. This outfit is perfect for a day hostessing at The Columns, a night out with friends or even just a day you feel like dressing up a little!
Pink is a fun way to brighten up your summer closet! I hope you found some inspiration to add some color to you colset this summer!
