No matter what time of year it is, for some odd reason you always need to wear shoes! I have a love hate relationship with shoes in the summer months, some times I just want to be a young kid running carelessly around with no shoes on, which I do quite a bit of, especially when heading to the beach. More times than not I quickly regret it because the sand is hot and burning my feet! So when it comes time to throw on shoes here are my top shoes this summer!
My Rainbow flip-flops:
These flip-flops are my all time favorite everyday flip-flop, I get lots of use out of them during the summer months and even continue to use them through out the whole school year living in a dorm! This pair is going on 3 years old and they aren’t going any where. The older they get the more comfortable they become! I can not recommend them enough, they are a bit pricey but I believe that they are worth every penny! They are sold at most surf shops!
Jack Rodgers:
I have the classic Jacks, Jack Rodger in so many colors! My collection grows summer after summer. I find the on sale at Marshals at the end of the summer or the warehouse sales they have twice a year in NYC! I love my Jacks, putting them away for the winter is a sad day but I always look forward to the next time I can take them out again. Whether it be a winter vacation to a warm place or the first warm day of the spring! They take some getting used to, but once they are broken in they are so great!
Abercrombie slides:
These shoes are so comfortable, they have a softer soul than my Jack Rodgers so they are nice to have in the everyday summer shoe rotation . I couldn’t recommended them enough, they come in many colors and style and they always complete my outfits when I wear them. (A similar style is linked and on sale!)
My love for shoes will continue into the fall season and I can not wait to see what my fall favorite shoes are this season
