I have been a boot lover since middle school. It all started with a pair of brown suede riding boots. They clicked like high heels and matched everything. I wore them all winter for years, by the time I got rid of them they inside was so worn out. I honestly had them until college and was very sad when it was time for them to go to the trash. Since then I have grown my collection with so many different boots. I can’t pick a favorite but I do find myself reaching for my booties more and more. Like a riding boot there are so many ways you can wear the, Below you will find you can style booties with jeans, skirts and dressed for an effortless look.
Booties and Jeans:
First up is my fall/winter uniform; jeans, a sweater and booties. Here I am wearing a cropped button up sweater with a buff sleeve and my button fly jeans. I purposely buy my jeans to be cropped so they work with booties. This way I don’t have to worry about cuffing them because I like to have a little bit of skin/ankle showing between the two. This way I can wear my jeans with any kind of boot.
Booties and skirt:
I love skirts, esspically all the different ones in the fall. There are corduroy skirts, suede skirts, tweed skirts and so many more that pair ever so nicely with a cute pair of booties. Here I am wearing a skirt that’s a few years old from J Crew Factory and I still love it because of the ruffle down the front. I paired with with a simple white blouse from Hill House Home’s latest drop. Pair it with a sweater and it is the perfect fall look!
Booties and Dress:
The wonderful thing about a bootie is it pairs well with a dress too. It is perfect way to dress up a more causal fall dress or dress down a more formal fall dress. Here I have paired my booties with the KJP fall flannel dress. The best part about this dress is it is perfect for now and the holiday season, which is right around the corner!
Like I mentioned I loved boots of all kinds so stay tune next week for more boot styles!
