Welcome my last addition of sweater style for a little while. With March starting on Monday I have a new little series I am excited to start. This last sweater style post does transition me into my next series which starts next Friday March 5. Today I am sharing two ways I style my classic navy cable knit sweater. One way I can wear now on the warm weather days and the other I can wear in about another month when it is even warmer!
Now:
The first way I styled this sweater is with a pair of jeans, sneakers and a vest. This outfit is a classic look. The navy cable knit is a preppy girls must have sweater. There is so much you can do with it and honestly you can never go wrong throwing it on with jeans, a skirt, dress pants or under a blazer or even over a dress. My sneakers are from Jack Rogers. They always have fun summery/springy sneaker options. These sneakers are a few years old but I linked a super cute pair that have blue embroidery on the sides!
Later:
Another way I would wear my cable knit sweater is with a classic Lily skirt. Clearly this is the later outfit, since there is still snow on the ground. Here in New Jersey it is slowly getting warmer. This week was a total tease but come Easter maybe we will have more consistent days of warm weather. In the meantime I will stick to the now outfit. Any who paring this cable knit with the a Lilly Skirt is a perfect outfit to transition into spring with. The bright colors give major spring vibes and the sweater will keep you warm on the chilly spring days. All this outfit needs a subtle self tan on the legs and I would be all set.
Shop the look:
Any way you decided to wear a cable knit sweater it will provide a cute timeless and preppy look. This sweater is definitely an all year round sweater, that I never put away into storage in the summer months.
